BRING A TEAM

So you desire to bring a team down... Awesome!!! We love to see the Lord connecting us with churches and groups from around the country and globe. We welcome groups of all sizes, whether your team is small or large.

 

A major part of your time here will be spending time with our kids. We are so excited for you to meet them, they love having visitors! When you first meet them it can be a little hard, seeing their disabilities and the struggles they live with. Once you get to know them, their disabilities will be the last thing you'll see! We promise at least one, if not all of them will steal your heart and you won't want to leave. We also like to utilise the teams to help our projects crew get some practical things done on the grounds... please also view the projects page and prayerfully consider funding and accomplishing one of them while you are here with us.

FORMS 

ACCOMMODATIONS

We have four clean dorms with bunk beds (up to 44 ppl) and banos (restrooms and showers) for your group. Food is provided for a small cost per person per day and our water is drinkable! There is also a classroom if you desire to do Bible Studies or lessons. The Mission also had a beautiful bon-fire pit for night time worship and smores!

 

COST: $18* (per person per day)

DRESS CODE 

Modest Apparel at all times... 

  • Nothing strapless at all 

  • No tight: tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, or pants

  • Shorts and skirts need to be longer than the length of your finger tips

  • When wearing shorter dresses or skirts, wear shorts underneath them

  • If your jeans have holes in them, the holes must be below your finger tips

  • If you want to wear leggings or yoga pants, they must have a pair of shorts or a skirt over them, or a top that completely covers your bottom. 

  • Nothing that reveals cleavage (remember that you will be working with the kids and you will not always be able to cover yourself, if you can see it-so can the kids) 

  • Guys, keep your t-shirts on, no matter how hot you get (yes, even in the Pool!)

  • Pool Attire: Girls- Shorts and Tank top or Shorts over a one piece Guys- Board short and a T-shirt or Tank top 

 

*The Mexican culture holds modesty very high and we have this dress code out of respect for them and our kids

WHAT TO BRING

Please No Drugs, Alcohol, or Weapons

  • Sleeping Bag / Bedding

  • Pillow

  • Towel

  • Toiletries (no blow dryers allowed)

  • Water Bottle

  • Sweatshirt (can get cold)

  • Hiking Shoes (if you want to hike the hills)

  • Money (for snacks and treats from the local store)

  • Bible and Journal
